Elizabeth Higginbotham, born 1825, was the wife of Bailey Bowling and the mother of Nancy Ellen Bowling. Elizabeth and Baily Bowling were married in 1839.

Mary Higginbotham, born 1792 and died August 1822, was married to Henry Bowling December 19, 1809. Henry died in Madison County, Alabama. They were the parents of Bailey Bowling.
