Portugal has finally a Swatch the Club. It's the 11th one, but it will probably become one of the biggest given the number of people joining. The Club swatch Garden Turf sold out in a matter of weeks...
*** October 97 ***
The Lisbon Swatch store official oppened. The news was published in a daily newspaper frontpage (left pic) and special guests invited (center and right pic - invitation).
33 right-to-purchace Gnomania were assorted (cupon bellow) from a total 333 cupons, given to swatch club members and 33 Skin Swatchs to the general public, while a small cocktail reception took place.

*** January 98 ***
The new Spring-Summer collection has just arrived! Tempus and the portuguese Club invited the media and some collectors into a market in Lisbon (Mercado da Ribeira). 6 o'clock in the afternoon is the rush hour for the flower business at this market. And what excelent idea to present it to the press. The peolpe received a special detailed catalogue along with some slides and of course A flower. Food and drinking was quite nice has well! Mmmmmmh... When is the next presentation?!
*** March 98 ***
This was the first night event organised by the Portuguese Club. Each of the members received on the mail an invitation (bellow) to the nice and famous Blues Cafe, which is near the river Tagus. The main party attractions were the live performance of Midge Ure and the visit of Mr. Hayek Jr. himself. Most of the people were wearing only recent Club swatchs or Adamastors, which shows that the Swatchmania is still starting in Portugal.

This is it. The Lisbon Expo'98 opened at last on the 22nd of May and inside the so expected Swatch pavillion is finnally available!!!!!!!!! Pictures can be seen
