Comments: I am a student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. The purpose of this letter is to ask you to please give me a minute of your time and answer a few questions about recreational therapy. The information you give to me will be used in a report for a technical writing course. The questions are as follows: * As an R.T. what type of work setting do you work in, and why did you choose it over others? * Do you find the hours you work demanding or not? * Is the work as an R.T. physically demanding, and how do you prevent injury to yourself? * Are you able to design your own therapy sessions, or is there a standard for therapy? Comments: A current issue here in Michigan, where I am a TR major at CMU, is the bill that is trying to be passed in the state on getting recreation therapists certified in the state of Michigan along with being certified nationally.
