There are have 26 White Storks in satellite tracking program. One of them is named Max. On site Birds without Borders you can see traveling routes and where Max is now!
White Stork migration
The migration of the White Storks has 2 paths: an Eastern route via Turkey, the Middle East, the Nile Valley to reach East Africa and even South Africa, and a Western route via Gibraltar to reach the North of Africa.
Calendar:
Mid July - beginning of August: dispersal of young birds August - September: migration November - December: arrival in southernmost areas January - February: beginning of return trip
