Community Education and Awareness:

To improve the environment of the catchment, measurably, all levels of the community have to become aware of the issues in managing the Middle Harbour catchment. This will happen through education and publicity, dealing with broad topics or specific issues such as stormwater runoff or bushland regeneration.

Our Committee has a role to promote and co-ordinate the implementation of TCM policies and programs. To address our role in promoting community education and awareness, we can first identity various opportunities for community awareness and education; then we can support these opportunities by giving out general information  or co-ordinating specific education programs or events. This will also further enhance the acceptance and implementation of TCM principles by the community throughout the Middle Harbour catchment.
