I am a mostly awful photographer, but that is probably due to lack of experience. Shortly after taking these pictures, my camera died (after a six-month long lifespan!), so I'm not getting any better. Either way, here are the two pictures I took on my August 1997 trip to Davis. It was over 100 degrees out, but I still fell in love with the campus (especially that arboretum walk!). First we have some of the famous "eggheads", the one on the left looks a bit like my friend Rhett (yes Rhett - even Thomas agrees with me on this).

The other picture is of the Putah Creek flowing through campus, and just a hint of the arboretum walk along the right edge.
