Turkey Creek Jubilee 2000

Oli Johnson and Jenny McVickers, Park Rangers, announce the annual Turkey Creek Jubilee celebration of Earth Day at the Turkey Creek Sanctuary. Turkey Creek Jubilee, Saturday, May 6, 2000, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Events will include a childrens' area with puppet shows, storytellers, crafts, and face painting. There will be environmental group displays, plant and bake sales, animal displays (mammal and reptile), a slide show at the Nature Center, and boat rides on Turkey Creek. Food and soda will be available. Music from several music groups will be heard.

The Turkey Creek Sanctuary entrance is located southeast of and behind the Palm Bay Community Center at 1518 Port Malabar Boulevard.
