The Daniel Good Geography Scholarship was established in 1997 by Dr. Daniel Good, a professor of geography at Georgia Southern University who began his teaching career at the institution in 1969 and retired in May 2003.

The scholarship was funded by gifts from family, friends, former students, and colleagues of Dr. Good. Those wishing to contribute to the scholarship endownment fund should submit their checks to:
