FINAL PROJECT
Student Generated Exercises

1. Develop an internet exercise similar to those used this quarter. The internet assignment would be one you could use in teaching geography at the K-12 level. Be sure to use a disk formatted for WordPerfect or Microsoft Word. Your assignment will be placed in the Cyber-Portfolio. Also, give the instructor a hardcopy along with the disk.

2. Develop an assignment from the Argus CD-ROM similar to Assignment #21 that could be used in teaching K-12. Put it on disk and give the instructor a hard copy.

3. Assume that you know nothing about one of the African countries (Zaire, Botswana, Morocco, etc.) As a person who has had experience with the internet, what internet resources should one consult to find out more about this country. Draw upon resources introduced in class and those you have discovered on your own. Use as many resources as you find necessary to provide adequate information on the country you have chosen. (You ought to have at least 10, such as CIA FactBook, Encyclopedia Brittanica, etc.) Put this on your disk and give a hard copy to Professor Good. Final Project is due by 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 1997.
