Rule #1: You may talk as you like but please keep the cursing to a minimum. No disrespectful behavior. If a person is being rude, warn them once. If they do not stop, then kick them!
Rule #2: If anyone asks for permanent ops, please kindly tell them to memo me the request. That is all. If they persist warn them they will be removed from the channel (kicked). The channel is currently set to secure (and will stay that way for the immediate future) so temporary ops can't be given either. Additional AOP's will be given out to those people who use the channel frequently and are seen as trustworthy by myself or the other SOP'(s).
Rule #3: Typos are declared the second language of the channel!
Rule #4: At times, if you see that someone is upset, please try to be aware of their feelings and act accordingly.
Rule #5: Watch your language when there are children around.
Rule #6: There is to be no NetSex in the channel for any reason or at any time! Take it to a private message.
Rule #7: All men are created equal, but women are the superior race, so do not harass them or attempt to NetSex them. Ladies are to be respected at all times.
Rule #8: If you are asked a question from another member in the channel about how to do something with IRC or another IRC chat program (ex: mIRC, Pirch), please try to answer or refer them to someone who would know, such as #DALnetHelp, #mIRC, etc. We would like to be known as a helpful channel and we are representing the city of Brisbane, last I knew we are fairly friendly people.
Rule #9: Have fun! That is what IRC is all about.
Rule #10: The founder has the right to take away any AOP's/SOP's from anyone he sees not using them appropriately.
Rule #11: Any ban's/akick's placed on the channel must have a memo/email sent to me, stating why the ban was placed. Failure to do so could mean loss of AOP's/SOP's.
Rule #12: It would be appreciatetd if you could memo or email me any problems encountered by hostile users. That is, users who mean to disrupt the usual running of the channel.
Rule #13: Another reminder, what was given to you in 'status' can be taken away!
Rule #14: Any other problems email or memo me. Including problems with other ops in the channel.
Rule #15: Basically, for the channel, WHAT I SAY GOES!
NO arguements will be entered into... this remember is for channel matters. It is my RIGHT to ACCEPT or DECLINE, any and ALL activities in the channel.
