These are my own favorite games... |
INDIANA JONES & THE FATE OF ATLANTIS |
This is my-all time favorite when it comes to adventure games. Its got a cool storyline and tough puzzles, and even though the graphics are a little ancient, its one game I wouldn't mind playing over and over again. |
THEME HOSPITAL |
I really like planning the set-up of my hospital each time, and those emergencies and epidemics are quite challenging, especially when your hospital gets bigger and more complicated. The characters and their sicknesses are really funny, and you can't beat shooting all those rats in your hallway! |
CAESAR III |
This is another simulation game in which you can't stop once you've begun. I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet....its hard to please everyone in the empire. There's always some kind of a problem, whether they lack water or entertainment structures or some kind of an industry. Its still fun, though, especially if you've got a strong army to fight off those enemies. |
DISCWORLD II |
Discworld comes out more like an interactive movie of which you're a part of. The dialogue is well-planned and the characters are interesting. In this game, you control Rincewind, a wacky wizard who has to find Death and convince him to return. There are lots of cool graphics, sounds and the usual puzzles. |
COMMAND & CONQUER |
I know, I know....there are many varations of this, but I still like this one. It feels good knowing that you're ready to strike against your opponent and that you're going to win. As long as you've got all the best weapons and know what to do at the right time, with the right people and at the right place, you're home safe. Command & Conquer's a real classic; Red Alert, Warcraft and Starcraft aren't bad, either. |
TOMB RAIDER |
Actually, I like all the Tomb Raiders, but I haven't finished the third one and I'm almost done with the second one. Its nice to have a strong female character at the lead for a change, though I'm sure the boys aren't one to complain. I took a long time in some places figuring out where to go, and I''m sure a missed a couple of things. You need quick reflexes to do some of the moves, and a sharp eye to, in figuring where to go. |
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK |
If you like trivia games, then You Don't Know Jack is for you. The format's kinda different from your usual quiz show. This one has more pizazz, and has up-to-date information on just about anything. There's even celebrity guests who pop in once in a while. |
