Frontside Heelflip Varials are hard to perform. This is because the board must flip away from you and spin on half rotation towards you; a motion which is difficult to initiate. 1) Find a small drop. Something about 8 inches off the ground. 2) Place your front finger on the far edge of the fingerboard, evenly between the trucks, and your rear finger on the edge of the tail closest to you. 3) Aproach the lip slowly, and pop your tail away from you. 4) Allow the board to flip slowly, and when it is done, catch and land it. 5) Practice, practice, practice. |
