Director, Knowledge & Education Services (Jul 2000 - present) Currently responsible for managing the design, creation and delivery of Calico Commerce education services offerings. Implemented Calico Knowledge Exchange based on knowledge management software from Intraspect. Managing all resources responsible for creation and delivery of computer-based and instructor-led training worldwide. Education Consultant, Calico Suite Design Workshop (Jun 1999 - Jun 2000) Designed, built and taught several courses for Calico. Courses varied from one-day self-study topics to five-day design workshops. Competencies covered in courses integrated three distinct design disciplines - Java/OO design, Configuration Modeling and Web/UI design to teach students how to design solutions utilizing the Calico Suite. Sun Microsystems Inc., Mountain View, CA     Systems Conversion Manager     (22 months)

Led the conversion of 40 systems associated with the Oracle Manufacturing implementation. Managed cutover plans for all related systems in Engineering, Order Management, Finance, Manufacturing and Data Warehousing. Co-led the design and development of all conversion programs for the Oracle implementation. Completed 5,000 workday design effort on schedule.

Sybase Inc., Emeryville, CA      Accounts Receivable Implementation Manager      (18 months)

Managed complete AR systems implementation end to end for $1B company on the Dun & Bradstreet SmartStream financial suite of applications. Integrated Order Management, Invoicing, Credit, Collections (Lockbox & Cash Application) and Customer Management worldwide. Standardized customer definition worldwide, including a large scale data cleanup effort. Enabled complete worldwide revenue reporting across all revenue streams that was not possible in the legacy architecture.

Managed design/build/test of all interfaces, modifications, reports and data conversions. Managed a 'big bang' cutover in 24 countries, each with local currency and reporting requirements, including European 'commissionaire' requirements. Successfully converted and reconciled $58.4m of Accounts Receivable data.

Indonesian Aircraft Industries (IPTN), West Java, Indonesia     MRPII Implementation Manager   (34 months)

Managed the implementations of the Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Shop Floor Control functions for a combined user community of approximately 300. Standardized part numbering schemes and order numbers from multiple sources. Led wholesale manual cleanup of parts that achieved over 99% bill of material accuracy. Converted Shop Floor systematically over a weekend with no interruption to production efforts.

Designed and led local language MRP training to over 250 middle & senior managers. Designed and led local language 'hands-on training' to over 70 Engineering users.

Managed process redesign and improvement in the Procurement, Shop Floor and Design Engineering functions. Achieved 30% reduction in Procurement lead time. Established 'root causes' for longest lead time issues in Shop Floor and Engineering.

Helped the local workforce manage the implementation of the Bell Textron 412 helicopter, adding 30,000 parts and about 150 end users to the system in 4 months. Implemented Engineering BOMs, Manufacturing BOMs and Routings.

Developed and implemented interfaces, batch system support and production support for the Requisition and Purchase Order functions. Utilized specialized conversion tools to successfully convert purchase order and requistion data into the MRP II system.
