Maturing from the 'Brewing Times' I moved from Warsaw, Poland to right next door Prague, Czech Rep. I went to ISP (International School of Prague) and lived at 1525 Hanspaulka, Praha 6. What can I say but my young adulthood could not have been timed or placed at a better city. The medieval ambience, mood, architecture and beauty of the city added a certain 'zest' to the already amazing and kick ass life (night and day). You can do anything - anytime - anywhere… the cops ? What cops ? That is Prague, where great internationally renowned beer flows like water (Gambrinus BABY!!), great food (Smaznesier (fried cheese) for 20kc!!), awesome parks (Letna!!), architecture (Charles Bridge, the church, the statue), bars (Marquee De Sade, Chapeau Rouge, Taz Pub, Terminal Bar, U Malejo Glena (sp?)), Clubs (ROXY!!, Lavka (sometimes..) Radost FX, Nasa) Restaurants (Bohemian Bagel, Pizza Grossetto CAHOVNA'S!! (tea houses)) shops (Giga Sport, Bazaar (MAX!!) Pirana (MARK!!), ethic stores, Oriental Shop, Kotva) the only city hailed as the 'Amsterdam' of Eastern Europe, where dealers come to you in hoards and openly ask the infamous line, "Marijuana, hashish, acid, ecstasy ??" (respectively in that order), efficient public transport (buses, trams, metro) and everything else.. I mean… everything !!

Memories would be too many to mention, but here goes… the craziest parties ever (I mean EVER) including, Sara's flat parties, Mangesh's (MANGO!!) house parties, Chris G's and Luca's grad parties!! Raves (Josh Wink Warehouse Rave!!), clubs, nights out, skating sessions/competitions, chillin', hacking, playing hand drums and drinking at Letna park, walking around experiencing each 'journey', at night watching the sky on Charles bridge, bumming at the statue in old town making fun of tourists with those dumbass 'I'm a tourist' hats, gyros (mmm), Smaznesier - our daily, stable, dietary (money-less) meal, watching movies 'blazed' at that small ass lockable room at Terminal, 'rolling' around town, Luca's sleep overs, tripping around Prague, the 'psychedelic shop', crashing at my place, my balcony and roof top baby !! My 'bus stop', clubbing with teachers, getting drunk with teachers !! (not mentioning any names), kick ass concerts and DJs almost every week, apple tobbacco at the Lavka Cahovna… and of course… the school.. haha…cant forget our school !! Great campus… though a bit sterile and hospital-like, soccer field too small though!!, soccer and bball tourneys, 2 varsity finals lost last year! (too close - cried our eyes out) Trips to Vienna, Warsaw… hehe.. breaking curfew (we know better now eh Tom? Slavonice!! 'Shroom Salvation', 'Devil Sperm' And the most amazing week ever - MUN!! The Hague!! 3000 students taking over a city in Holland… for a week.. need I say more?? etc…

The list is endless… living in Prague was a paradox, I lived my best times and worst times there… when shit hit the fan it hit HARD, but when times were good, they were the BEST one could ever experience. But I must say, I have grown and matured from it all.. and I am thankful for ALL of it…

If I were asked to do it all over again.. I would say yes - no regrets…

So if you all get a chance to pass by Prague, don’t miss it…

or you'll be missing one of the greatest cities in the world…
