About the CHGA

• The CHGA was created in 1974 when the sport of hang gliding was new and wild. Since then we have grown and matured, along with the sport. Today we are Chapter 11 of the United States Hang Gliding Association. We currently have about 25 members.
  
  
• We welcome paraglider pilots to join us too. Currently we have a few paraglider pilots who are members. Our most suitable site for PG is Brace mountain on the CT/NY border. Brace was opened in 1975 and has recently been revived with a state permit and is becoming an active flight park. See www.flyny.net
  
  
• Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at George's Pizza restaurant at 9 School Street, Unionville, Connecticut at 8 PM. Come at 7 PM to eat dinner.
  
  
• Dues are $30 a year and a bi-monthly newsletter is e-mailed. To join please see info in red above.
