Myth of The Temple of SkullsOnce long ago, an Elven Druid was in his forest, making sure all was in it's correct place, and he came apon an Obsidian Temple. He went to the draw bridge, and called out "Mae govannen, is anyone hither?" Soon after, the drawbridge lowered itself, and he was left alone in the fog. His apprentice walked up behind, and he turned to see who it was. When he turned around to show him, the temple was gone, and there was only a shroud of fog in it's place. Some say the Temple of Skulls is where The Knight's minion, Lord Granimyre, hails, but none have ever been inside this Temple, thus none can varify this rumor. The Demon Shapeshifter"The darkness around me, it crept, it gave me the chills. That shiver..It felt like pure evil, it was watching me. I, myself am evil, but it made me feel like an Angel on the Abyss. I turned, for since I'm a Creature of the Night, I could see into the shadows...All I saw was a pair of bloody red eyes, they were boring into my soul. At first I thought it to be a Psi-Vamp, but I knew I wouldn't have been alive if that were so. It pounced apon me, I saw an elves face, then a humans, then no face at all! It began to stare into my eyes, as I was prone below it. The face, it kept changing. Elf, Human, Dwarf, none. But all through those eyes, they remained the deepest color of red. I heard the flowing of a cloak, and then the silent tap of feet landing behind the creature. It stopped staring at me, and lept off me, and over me I saw a Drow chase it. It must have been one of Sephiroth's Guardians, for it had a katana in hand as it chased after the foul demon. They sped off into the night, and that was the last I saw of that shapshifting demon." This was taken from the diary of a Vampire, when Sephiroth asked his minions, none had seen it. Since it was during The Time of Darkening, it may have been a Malakinian, but none can varify this. The Shining SageThe Shining Sage, or Agyrtuntryreroese, is the oldest dragon on Naztuil, older than even Inalkil himself. He resides in a huge Obelisk at the zenith of Dragon's Gate Mountain. All questions dealing with Naztuil, and many other places, can be answered by this old sage. Inalkil's followers often times go to him for advice when Inalkil cannot be reached, but none can breath the air of the place where he lives, save The Black Blades, those of The New Knights of the Silver Rose, and Inalkil's highest and most renowned Dragonriders. With a special pendant, however, the wearer can survive for two weeks. After that, the pendant becomes useless, and the wearer will suffocate, unless they are taken back down the mountain. All items here are © copyright by their writers, 2000. All rights reserved. |
