Takedowns to Submissions
Combinations are quite often the key in any type of fighting situation. The combination of take down into a submission is no exception and serves a dual purpose as well. If the submission, for what ever reason fails, there is still a take down and the appropriate action to be taken still available.
Leg submissions readily lend themselves to many of these combo's and the scissor throw (Kami basami) like wise. The following illustrate the scissor throw combined with different leg locks to achieve the submission right as it hits the ground.
