Flaekesill / Ripped herring
Ingredients: 1 kg fresh sill (herring), Salt
Clean and rip up the sill but leave the head on. Put on a lot of salt
and then let it rest for about two hours. Then put them on pins through
their heds and let them hang out in about 8 hours in strong sunheat.
Thereafter steak them in butter. Serv with boiled potatoes and some yello.
Note: Pronaunce Sill like Mill but with the M replaced with S.
