My Night At The Punk Rawk Show
We ain't go no place to go
Let's go to the Punk Rawk Show
Darlin' take me by the hand
Gonna see a Punk Rawk Band...
Alrighty then.  Here's the story of me and my posse going to see MxPx in Toronto at The Warehouse.  I should have known something was going to happen by the way the night started out.  We left about an hour later, well, maybe not an hour, about forty-five minutes later than we wanted to (turns out that was OK though, cause it only took us an hour and forty five minutes to get to the place, I was expecting something like two and a half hours), due to the fact that one of the people who's name starts with a B decided to go and get a fishing licence and go out with his friend and eat.  It's ok though, I'm not holding a grudge.  So, yeah, then we leave at about 5:15pm and things are going good.  We get to Toronto at about 7pm, doors open at 8.  And guess what.  It's absolutely freezing outside, and we had to wait in line for over an hour.  I of course was dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, well, so was everyone else, but I get cold easier than everyine else.  So, we waited and waited, both B.. and J.. found people that they knew there, that was crazy.  So, they talked to their friends while B.... and I stood in line and listened to some guy swear up a blue streak and some other guys talk about mullets.  Listening to the guys talk about mullets was pretty funny, cause mullets are funny.  Finally, at about 8:15 or so we get into The Warehouse, and we have to wait another hour for the show to start.  BOO! Then the first band came out.  Ultimate Fakebook.  They were OK, nothing spectacular, although I did like their bassist, he reminded me of Goldberg from WCW wrestling.  So, Ultimate Fakebook played for about at half hour or so, Ohhhhhhhh I forgot to mention that we were at centre stage about ten rows from the front, we had excellent standing spots.  During Ultimate Fakebook, the moshing was pretty tame, only thing that really happened was you got pushed around a bit.  It was scary for the first few minutes, cause I had never experienced anything like that before, but after a while it was pretty fun.  After Ultimate Fakebook we had to wait about 25-30 minutes for Good Charlotte to come out.  I was enjoying Good Charlotte until the moshing picked up in intensity, I fell down one time and lost my shoe, thank you J.. for picking me up as soon as I fell, and thank you girl who had my shoe between her feet.  You would have thought that after that I would have ran out of the pit, but no, not me.  So I stayed there in the pit, about five minutes after I almost lost my shoe, B.... sked me if I wanted to go to the back where it was less rowdy, but guess what.  I said "No".  I can't believe how dumb I am. So, Good Charlotte is still playing, people had begun to crowd surf, we were all getting booted in the head by them , and landed on by them, we're all still having a good time though, till alls of a sudden, I get booted in the head by a crowd surfer, and my glasses fall off my head, and down to the ground.  I look down to see if I can see them, and guess what.  I can't.  I considered getting down there and trying to feel for them, but had I done that, I probably would have died, or at least have been seriously injured.  So, for the last half of Good Charlotte, and all of MxPx, I had no glasses and couldn't see.  Well, I could kind of see, but not very well.  So I went and sat down by a barricade till the show was over.  BTW  MxPx is a very cool band, and if you don't have any of their CDs I suggest you go pick up at least one.  You'll love it.  Guaranteed.

Names have been left blank to protect the innocent.
