(back in Terrance's room)

Terrance: (aloud to herself, increasing in vehemence and volume) Where is she? This is it! The last straw! The straw that breaks the camel's, meaning my, back! I'm going to give that girl a serious talking-to and she is going to listen whether she likes it or-

(Kit bursts into the room, runs over, grabs Terrance and starts dragging her away)
Kit: Get the hell away from that computer!

Terrance: Wha-?

(The laptop suddenly bursts into flames. Terrance is in shock while Kit watches grimly. Terrance suddenly realizes Kit is still holding her. Kit is oblivious.)
Terrance: (V.O.) She saved me... (smiles dreamily)

Kit: (angry at no one in particular) Come on, Terry, we're going to go see Jeff. (storms off)

Terrance: (Ending V.O.) Jeff? Why would we go see our boss? I mean, sure he should be informed but what can he do? I didn't have the answers to these questions but for the moment I was more than content to follow Kit's lead... as long as she kept hold of my hand while dragging me there...
