Dear Friend:

This is to introduce to you the Daly City Dolphins Aquatics Club. This local non-profit organization consists of swimmers ages 5-18, and their parents/guardians. The club's primary objective is the instruction and training of our young people to develop and improve their capabilities in the sport of competitive swimming. Beyond that, the discipline, training, and accomplishments the swimmers achieve often lasts a lifetime. Mr. Fred Wales and Mrs. Tatiana Kanakis head our dedicated coaching staff, as swimmers participate in year-round competitions hosted by various swim clubs and sanctioned by the United States Swimming, of which DCD is an active member.

On November 22-23, 1997, our swim team will host a swim meet at the Giammona Swimming Pool at Westmoor High School in Daly City. As in the past years we expect about 500 swimmers from over twenty teams around the Bay Area (and beyond) to compete in our meet. We are inviting you to support the efforts of our young people by way of advertisement in our beautiful Meet Program. The Meet Program covers the swimming events of the meet, and attending families will read your ad at the meet, and for years to come (many keep their program as a memento for their children).

Your generous support will go a long way in helping your local swim team defray a portion of the cost of hosting this meet. At the same time your name or business will receive fine advertising and be known as a supporter of this good community cause.
