I am looking for a John Brennan who came from County Cork with his
parents and settled in St. Clair.  He married Mary Toner (who came with
her parents from Ireland).  I'm thinking that this was in the late
1800's.  They had children (one of which was named John) who married
Sarah Lawrence.  They had a son named John W. in about 1933 in
Frackville.  John and Sarah moved from Frackville to Baltimore in the
40's.  I am married to John W.'s son (John Timothy) and we live in
Frederick, Maryland.  Has anyone found the Brennan's that I'm talking
about.  I can't find anything on them.

UPDATE JULY 16, 2000

I am writing to let you know that I have found some Brennan information.  Now I need to update my search.

I am looking for the parents and siblings of John Francis Brennan (born 1879 in St. Clair, PA).  He died in 1930 in St. Clair and is buried in St. Mary's RC cemetary in St. Clair.  He was married to Mary Toner and they had Rita, Regina (Jean), Mary, Anna, and William.  I have a hunch that John Francis was descended from William and Mary Brennan, but no solid proof.

From what the research indicates, John Francis spent his entire life in St. Clair.  I can't find any information on his parents (his baptismal and death certificates haven't arrived yet).

Also, I am looking for a Kyran (Kieran) Brennan who had a daughter named Mary.  My Father in Law talks a lot about him.  I think he was John Francis' brother.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks.
Annette Brenan
