<BGSOUND SRC="midi/Girl_On_TV.mid" loop=-1> My Fantasies

I always like to fantasize whenever I have nothing better to do. Even when I do have important things to do, I would still prefer fantasizing than getting my job done. I fantasize all the time. It's my life.

Travelling around the world is my greatest fantasy of all. I love going different places, seeing different things, meeting new people, eating different food (yeah, especially this one!) and live in different places of the world. I love to travel, I'm a Gemini, I love liberty more than anything else on earth. But, unfortunately, so far, I haven't been even out of my own country. If I have the time and the money, I would certainly plan a getaway and my first stop would definitely be Paris, the capital city of France. You would certainly ask, "Why Paris instead of hundred other cities in the world?" Well, the reason is Paris has the best selection of food and wine in the world, the French people are the most exotic people in the world, and Paris is not short of great history. And most of all, Parisians' lifestyle suits me well; they love to linger over a meal, so do I. Besides that, moving around Paris and its surroundings is really convenient and fast with the availability of TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse), EuroCity, Rapide, etc.

All right, let's start the journey, shall we? Wait a sec, I almost forget something, yeah, that's my girlfriend. Going to a place like Paris need a companion, you know. Maybe I'll left her somewhere in Africa later on. Heh heh, just kidding. I would never leave my girl like that, trust me. So, after arriving at the Paris airport, we would take a limousine to 'Hotel Ritz', one of the luxuriest hotels in Paris. After checking in, taking quick showers, we would put on 'I Love Paris' T-Shirts which we just bought from the souvenir store in the airport. Then, we would visit the famous sidewalk cafés to taste the world's finest gourmet coffee. While waiting for the coffee to be served, I would buy a copy of 'L' Equipe' (one of many French newspapers) from the newstand, and pretend to read it like the Frenchmen, heh, heh (hey, actually I do know how to read French). And man, that would be really cool, wouldn't it? Once in awhile, while sipping real gourmet coffee, we (my girl and I) would do some French kisses. We would kiss around.. err... I mean hang around the café for a couple of hour more before we get back to our hotel room. Back at the hotel, we would 'faire l'amour' (heh heh heh, I ain't gonna explain what that means, you gotta find it out yourself) whilst taking bath. Then, in the evening, I would put on my shiny grey 'Emporio Armani' tuxedo while my girl would definitely dress in a black 'Thierry Mugler' velvet dress. We would dine in the finest restaurant in Paris, and what could be better choice than 'Le Junes Verne' at Eiffel Tower? With the great scenery, and some soft, romantic music, the ambience would be just perfect.

And now, it's time to order. "Mademoiselle! Puis-je avoir la carte?" (Waitress! May I have the menu, please?). Hmmm, let's see. For 'hors-d'œuvre' (appetizers), we would order 'quenelles de brochet' (light dumplings made of pike, served with a velvety sauce), 'quiche' (a flan or open-faced tart with a rich, creamy filling of cheese, vegetables or seafood). After that, we would have 'salade de thon' (tuna salad) for 'salades' (salad). Next, we would get some 'omelets' (omelettes) and 'potages et soupes' (soups). A classic French omelette isn't merely scrambled eggs but is shaped like smooth, slightly swelling golden oval. It should be tender and creamy inside and served either plain or flavored with one or more ingredients. My omelette would be filled with cheese and ham and is called 'omelette au formage et jambon' and I would like 'crème de volaille' (cream of chicken) as my soup.

And for the main course... oh boy, I have been waiting very long for this! 'Brandade de morue' (Creamed salt cod), 'hormard à l'américaine' (sautéed diced lobster, flamed in cognac and then simmered in wine, aromatic vegetables, herbs and tomatoes), 'bœuf bourguignon' (a rich beef stew with vegetables, braised in red Burgundy wine), and 'canard à l'orange' (the best known of French duck recipes; it's braised with oranges and orange liqueur). Mmmmm, delicious, right? I bet you are salivating right now. And finally, for 'dessert' (desserts), we would definitely enjoy 'crêpe suzette' (large, thin pancakes simmered in orange juice and flambéd with orange liqueur), 'crème caramel' (caramel pudding), 'vacherin glacé' (ice-cream cake) and 'colonel' (lemon (water ice) doused with vodka). And of course, we would have fine Burgundies or Châteauneuf-du-Pape as our wine selection during our meal. "Burp! Oops! Excusez-moi! Heh heh!" Right, it's time to pay the bill. When the waitress come, I could say "Je croisqu'il y a une erreur dans l'addition" (I think you made a mistake in this bill), heh heh heh. Here she comes. "Le repas était délicieux. Gardez la monnaie." (That was a delicious meal. Keep the change.)

Yeah! That definitely was a delicious meal, ain't it? Now, you know why I would choose Paris, instead of other cities. Of course, the journey doesn't stop here, but, there are hundred of other cities I would love to visit. But, it could take all day to write all these fantasies of mine here. So, let's keep it short and simple. After Paris, I would travel to Rome (they have the biggest cathedral in the world, St Peter's Basilica), then Venice (yeah, the floating city with gondolas as the only way to travel) and oh boy, Italy's another food haven. I love beef lasagna, and fettuchini carbonara, and gelati, and cheese and pizza! Wow, maybe food is my paradise, my actual fantasy. Hmm, not sure about that. But, without travel, I can't have all those food right? Those food don't walk by themselves.

Other than the above cities, Milan(Italy), Madrid (Spain), Vienna (Austria), Athens (Greece), Amsterdam (Netherlands), London (England), Liverpool (England), Berlin (Germany) Moscow (Russia), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Prague (Czech Republic) are among the cities I would love to visit in Europe. For the rest of the world, I would love to fly to Tokyo (Japan), Nagasaki (Japan), Phuket (Thailand), Los Angeles (U.S.A.), Texas (U.S.A.), New York City (U.S.A.), Sao Paolo (Brazil), Istanbul (Turkey), Cape Town (South Africa), Shanghai (China), etc.

By all means, I prefer travelling in the world in a hot air balloon, by train, or in a large ship than on an airplane.

My wedding? Most men prefer not to marry. But, if I am gonna marry someday, I am supposed it would not to be held together with family or friends, instead, I would prefer a wedding with just some rap and funky music, rappers, the priest, me and of course, my bride; and the location would be either a church in London or Glagslow or a cathedral in Madrid or even Las Vegas. On the other hand, the theme for my wedding might as well be Camelot, where I'll be Sir Lancelot. I might be doing all these because it is just once in a life time (not like i'm gonna marry again ;Þ)

Most just married couples would only spend their honeymoon awhile after their weddings. My bride and I would straight get it started. In fact, it's already started when we are on our journey to the church. Paris would be the first stop, a nice romantic dinner, and some 'faire l'amour'. Then, the next day, we would take EuroCity to Rome. We would enjoy great Italian food before we take taxi to Venice. In Venice, we would enjoy sightseeing in a gondola and Italian music! We would probably stay overnite in Venice; we would 'faire l'amour' all nite long. In the morning, we would travel to Barcelona, Spain by train. Watching bullfights or corridas would be our main event. The other event is of course, enjoying the food! Actually, there are more things to see in Spain. Flamenco is one of them, where beautiful women dressed up in their pretty clothes with a stalk of rose clenched between their teeth, while the castanets and guitar are being played. The journey will never ends...
