Plans As at Monday 12 July we have no plans. There are a couple of designs that we quite like the look of, but after talking with our builder over the weekend it seems that neither of these is really suitable. What we will probably be looking at now is a 2 story home with the bottom layer being the living areas. With the slope on the section we will most likely end up with the house stepping down 2-3 steps between each section. This will give us the option of have vaulted ceilings in our living, dining and kitchen. I will add more after our next discussion with the builder. 29 July 1999 We have just accepted the quote from the builder and he is going to start the working drawings. To give you a sneak preview this is what we are basing our home on We are still deciding whether to include the chimney in the living area which you will see on the elevation.
