Your client sells "Lemon" items. She has pictures that she wants you to prepare for her web site.
The client has taken the pictures with her digital camera and given them to you in a zipped folder. You will need to do a lot of fixing, sizing and compressing. Most of the time you need to fix the "flash" of the camera and straighten up the image. Some of the "pictures" are not usable there is no way to fix them. Please let her know which pictures need to be retaken and why.
Background Files: There are 3 background files use 1 (or more) of them to design a great background for her sight. Be creative. Remember backgrounds tile make sure the pattern works when it tiles. The file should not be more than 10KB when done.
If you have forgotten how to compress or size or make buttons and backgrounds. I have placed "review" files to practice from CISW 350 under Course Review Materials.
You have 12 pictures to crop and compress. Please crop the picture to zoom in and center the "subject" and take out extra unwanted bits of "just extra space."
I need all of them at 450 x 600 (if the picture is a wide picture) or 600 x 450 (if the picture is a tall picture). **hint--make yourself a rectangle template with the size or use your navigation window when cropping.
These should all be less than 40KB when done and saved as .jpg -- also fix anything that needs a touch-up, several pictures can use a contrast/brightness fix --nothing major.
All of the pictures also must be made into thumbnails. 150 pixels wide (if wide) and 100 pixels wide (if tall). Do not distort the pictures when making them into thumbnails.
Choose 2 of the pictures and filter them to make an interesting graphic to use in several places on the web site. I placed an example of one that I have used but be creative!!! Some of these pictures can make for an impressive abstract.
The CIS department at ARC is going to be promoting the department in print and through the use of the internet. Create an animated graphic (.gif file) for each of the following, you may use text, pictures, or both:
Remember consistency in your graphics...they should look the same or be similar in the themes.
Give a description of how the animated graphic should be used on the page. (example: top left corner, loop 1 time only or splash introduction, etc.)

Choose one of the photos and add just a touch of a light pastel color to specific areas to make a "special look" -- name this photo "special.jpg"
You can keep all the original size but remember to compress and keep as much quality as you can.
