Tools For the Job

Basic tools needed

*Four foot level
*Power saw 71/4" blade (sharp)
*Hammer, not a 16oz finishing a 20oz minimum
*Drill, the cheap handy man drills will do the job, but it will take some muscle to drive a 1/2 concrete bit five inches into the foundation of your home.

The tools we use

*H.D. worm drive power saw 71/4 " blade.
*Four foot level.
*28oz framing hammer.
*H.D. hammer drill with 1/2" chuck.
*12 volt cordless drill, i use this for driving 3" screws on railings and railing posts.
*Chalk line, for straight cuts on overhanging decking boards.
*Compressor and assorted nail guns for nailing down the decking board to nailing the railing spindles,
    3" coil nailer and 15 gauge finish nailer.
