HARRY L. LEARNARD

WOODLAND -- Harry L. Learnard, 74, husband of Violet Lloyd Learnard of Elliot, died Tuesday at Kittery following a brief illness.

He was born at Woodland Aug. 25, 1894, the son of Owen and Mary (Buzzell) Learnard.

A former resident of Woodland, Learnard had resided in Elliot for a number of years.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Lt. Col. Donald in Vietnam, Harry Jr., Manchester, N. H., and Norris of Clarmont, N. H.; three daughters, Mrs. Jasper (Dorothy) Jardine of Washburn, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Richardson; Eliot, and Mrs. Robert (Anna) Tobey, Portsmouth, N. H.; three brothers, Harvey of Eliot, Herbert of Van Buren and Norris of San Diego, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Ellie Soule of Newport, Mrs. Emma Haines of Washburn, Mrs. John (Jennie) Leeman of Fairfield, Conn., and Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Plissey of Washburn.

Friends may call at the Franklin Wilson Funeral Home in Kittery Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at South Eliot Methodist Church with the Rev. Garland Emmons, pastor officiating, assisted by the Rev. Duncan Moores of Portland
