JAMES McISAAC

ROBINSONS -- James J. McIsaac, 47, of Presque Isle died in a Presque Isle hospital Saturday after accidentally contacting a high voltage power line while assisting in the moving of a camp at Wesleyan Methodist Riverside Campground here, the State Police reported. Police said McIsaac died of electrical injuries.

McIsaac was born in Upper Brighton, N. B., Oct. 19, 1920, the son of Woodburn and Alverta (Golding) McIsaac.

He attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church and is a past member of the Presque Isle Volunteer Fire Department, and of the Canadian Legion.

During World War II he served overseas with Carleton and York Infantry of the Canadian Army.

Surviving besides his parents of Easton are his wife, Mrs. Merle (McConnell) McIsaac of Presque Isle; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Joanne) Johnson, Marysville, N. B.; Mrs. Bryant (Wanda) Cummings, Presque Isle; two brothers, Frederick of Augusta and Philip of Presque Isle; one granddaughter, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Wesleyan Methodist Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Milton Bagley and the Rev. James A, Blinn, pastor of Wesleyan Methodist Church, Presque Isle.

Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
