WASHBURN -- Mrs. Jennie M. Giggey, 79, died at a Presque Isle hospital Sunday evening following a brief illness.
She was born at Fort Fairfield, March 5, 1886, daughter of George and Nancy (Giggey) Martin. Mrs. Giggey had been a resident here most of her life and was a member of the Washburn Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Giggey of Washburn; one sister, Mrs. Ferne Ballard, of Washburn; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Hines Street residence Tuesday afternoon and evening. Funeral services will he held at the Washburn Pentecostal Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth MacDonald, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery
