CROUSEVILLE - Mrs. Vergie T. Crouse, 66, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs Rowena Conley, Thursday evening, following an illness of several months.
She was born at Washburn July 7, 1899, daughter of Richard and Emma Andrews Thompson.
Mrs. Crouse was a member of the Advent Christian Church of Crouseville for more than 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, H. Edgar Crouse, one son, Laurel of Amherst, Mass.; two daughters, Mrs. Rowena Conley of Crouseville, Miss Eleanor Crouse of Rochester, N. Y.; two brothers, Andrew Thompson of Lakeport, N. H.; Leslie Thompson of Auburn, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Vivian Piers of Dover. N. J.; Mrs. Velma Woodworth of North Easton, Mass.; Mrs. Valeria Frederickson of Pembrook, Mass.; five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence in Crouseville Saturday afternoon and evening.
Funeral services will be held in the Advent Christian Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Melvin White, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in the Crouseville Cemetery.
