MASARDIS--Mrs. Alice Orr Cain, 74, died Thursday in a Presque Isle hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Cain was born McManee, N. B., March 26, 1890, the daughter of John and Lydia Stuart Orr.
She was a member of Mother Church, First Church of Christian Science in Boston, Mass. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hazel McHatten of Masardis; four sons, Clair, Frederick, Clifford and John, all of Masardis; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Waddell and Mrs. Minnie Ranks of Bangor, and 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence here beginning Friday at 7 p.m. until time of funeral services.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in the family lot at Masardis Cemetery.
