CHAPMAN -- William Termier Wilcox, 87, died Monday at the home of his son Sterling Wilcox in Wade after a brief illness.
He was born April 5, 1876, at Kings County, N, B., son of Charles and Mary Ann (Varrlet) Wilcox. Mr. Wilcox had resided in Chapman for the past 18 years.
He is survived by four sons, Roy of Chapman. Fred of Easton, Merle of Woodland, Sterling of Wade; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Page of Easton, Mrs. Susie Brockman of Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Laura Carter of Mapleton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Fern Farley of Mapleton; two step-sons, Beacher Ambrose of Chapman, and Arnold Ambrose of Windsor, Conn.; 30 grandchildren three great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, and 10 step-great grandchildren.
Friends may call at R, W. Wight and Sons funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Washburn Pentecostal church at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Lloyd Sparks, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Read Blackstone. [end of clipping - sorry]
