ORMAN L. POOLER

WASHBURN Orman L. Pooler, 54, died suddenly at work at Loring AFB Monday.

He was born at Wade February 21, 1909, son of Joseph and Minnie (Raven) Pooler. He was a lifelong resident of Washburn, attended the Washburn Pentecostal Church, and was a member of the Washburn Masonic Lodge.

During World War II. He served with the U.S. Army Engineers. He is survived by his mother of Washburn; his widow, Mrs, Lottie (Langin) Pooler of Washburn; and son, Joseph E., and a daughter, Sheryl Ann, both of Washburn; three brothers, Eugene and William of Washburn, and Bernard of Sunborough, Pa.: four sisters. Mrs. Evelyn Wilcox, of Woodland, Mrs. Annie Nickerson and Mrs. Ruth Duncan of Washburn, Mrs. Josephine Fitzgerald of Worcester. Mass.: several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle Tuesday from 7 to 9. P.M.

Funeral services will be held at the Washburn Pentecostal Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bernard Sands, a former pastor officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Sparks, pastor. Interment will be in Riverside Extension Cemetery where committal services will be conducted by the Washburn Masonic Lodge and the American Legion Post.
