J. THOMAS BRADDOCK

WADE, Sept. 21 [1960] -- J. Thomas Braddock, 82, of Wade, died in a Caribou hospital Tuesday night after a brief illness. He was a potato farmer.

Mr. Braddock was born at Fort Fairfield June 7, 1878, the son of Stephen and Agnes (Flannery) Braddock. He had lived at Wade for 54 years.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Louise (Fenderson) Braddock of Wade; two sons, James of Presque Isle and Vernon of Riverside, N. J.; a daughter, Mrs. Olive McBurnie of Washburn; a brother Wesley of Washburn; a sister Mrs. Julia Baker of Norridgewock; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home at Presque Isle Thursday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Reaf Blackstone, pastor of the Advent Christian Church of Wade, will officiate.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Washburn.
