MRS. NELLIE FOOTE
CARIBOU, Dec. 22 [1957] -- Mrs. Nellie Foote, 72, died at the home of her son, Oden, on the East Presque Isle Road Saturday after a long illness. She was born at Levant February 22, 1885, the daughter of Alden and Ida (Shaw) Howe. She had resided in Washburn for many years, where she and her husband had been engaged in farming. She was a past matron of the Washburn Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Jonesport.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; a son, Oden, both of Caribou; and a sister, Mrs. Villa Cleaves of Glendale, Calif.
Friends may call at Morgan's funeral home until time of services.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Farrell Lenvesty, pastor of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Beal's Island, officiating.
Interment will be in the Washburn cemetery.
