MRS. ANNIE FARNHAM

WASHBURN, Dec. 30 [1956] -- Mrs. Annie P. Farnham, 81, died at the home of Mrs. Murray Allen Saturday afternoon after a long illness.

She was born at Waterville, N. B., October 16, 1875, the daughter of Bradford and Charlotte (True) Palmer, and had lived in Washburn the past five years.

Mrs. Farnham was a school teacher at Fort Fairfield for 25 years. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Fort Fairfield and the Retired Teachers Association.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mavis E. Carter of Washburn; a brother, Harry S. Palmer of Calgary, Alta.; three grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. J. Wesley Stuart officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Fort Fairfield, in the spring. 1
