She was born at Waterville, N. B., October 16, 1875, the daughter of Bradford and Charlotte (True) Palmer, and had lived in Washburn the past five years.
Mrs. Farnham was a school teacher at Fort Fairfield for 25 years. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Fort Fairfield and the Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mavis E. Carter of Washburn; a brother, Harry S. Palmer of Calgary, Alta.; three grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. J. Wesley Stuart officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Fort Fairfield, in the spring.
