He was born at Washburn August 29, 1881, son of Alfred and Mary Smith Bugbee, and had been a resident of Washburn and Wade Plantation most of his life.
Mr. Bugbee was a former member of the IOOF at Washburn, a member of the Dunntown Advent Chpistian churcll and was a selectman in Wade for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Dickinson Bugbee of Washburn; two sons, Alfred of Presque Isle and Willard of Washburn; one daughter, Mrs. Elva Richards of Worcester, Mass.; four brothers, George of Redlands, Calif., Hersehe1, Harry and Ernest L., all of Washburn; a sister Kate Porter of Washburn; six grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Friends may call at the Graves funeral home in Presque Isle Saturday afternoon and evening from 3 to 8 o'clock..
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Washburn First Baptist Church with the Rev. Reed Blackstone, of Perham officiating.
Interment. will be in Riverside cemetery in the spring.
