J. WILMOT CROUSE

CROUSEVILLE, Sept. 27 [1955] -- J. Wilmot Crouse, 86, a well known life-long resident of Crouseville, died at his residence Tuesday afternoon.

He was born in Washburn, May 15, 1869, son of Jesse and Minnie (Sprague) Crouse, and was a member of the Crouseville Advent Christian church.

Surviving are three sons, William C., Avard W., and Aldon C., all of Crouseville; eight daughters, Mrs. Bertha Woodman, Mrs. Eunice Dickinson, and Musa Porter, all of Washburn; Mrs. Avis Flewelling of South Vernon, Mass.; Mrs. Marion Perkins, Montpelier, Vt.; Mrs. Thelma Haines, Putnam, Conn.; Mrs. Lois Cols, Biddeford, and Mrs. Wilma Perkins of Crouseville; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Belyea, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Minnie Kitchen of Birmingham, Mich., and Mrs. Masie Clark of Crouseville; 36 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 o'clock in the Crouseville Advent Christian church with the Rev. Earl Waterman officiating.

Interment will be in the Crouseville cemetery. 1
