Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon in the chapel of the Graves Funeral home. The Rev. Charles R. Fisher, rector of St. John's Episcopal church, officiating.
Bearers: will be John Merrill, Cliford Fox, Rudy Sirois, Dennis Elliot, Wallace Dow, and Gerald James. Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery.
Mr. Ackerman was a former resident of St. Louis, Mo., and was born in Toronto, Ont., Feb. 12, 1922, son of August and Eva Prudantes Ackerman. He had been employed at the local Sears, Roebuck & Co., store since coming to Presque Isle.
He is survived by his parents, who are residents of St. Louis, Mo.
