MATTHEW DOUGLAS ALEXANDER

I am a young man who was born in 1980,
June 21st specifically, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Oh I didn't live there for very long at all. Such
a short period of time in fact that I don't have
any memories of it whatsoever.

We moved to Oshawa. We, that is: Me, my
Brothers (Tom and Pete), and my Parents (Mom
and Dad).

We lived at 906 Southridge Street until
Christmas of Grade Eight. Don't worry, I'll start
using actual years when I go into the real world.
Until then time only works when school is in
session.

We moved to Courtice, Ontario, A.K.A. Clarington,
where I finished grade eight at M.J. Hobbs. Which
is, was, and always will be, a pit of suffering.

High School at Courtice Secondary School,
favorite teachers being:
- Mr. Saitz - Grade Nine English
- Mr. Schultz - Various social studies courses
- Mr. Wunderlich - Ancient Civilizations
- Mr. Walkau - Chemistry. Very cool, though I
nearly failed his class.
- Mrs. Clarke - very cool, though I did actually
fail her OAC Finite Math class.

In October of 2000 I moved into a small two bedroom basement apartment in Toronto with a friend, Jocelyn De Backere. Things here are civil, but i tend to stay in my room as much as possible when her boyfriend Seth is visiting.

I had to move to Toronto because I'm a student at The Ontario College of Art and Design to study film and what-not. We'll see how that goes. School I mean, film is where I live.

don't drink, don't smoke, what do I do?

I must make movies, or I will die sad and alone.
