Height is 12-18 inches. Considered the bluest of the grasses. Grows best in moist well-drained soil in full sun. will not perform its’ best in hot dry sites or soggy soil. Propagation is by division or seed. Zones 5-9.

Bowels Golden Grass

Height to 16 inches. Prefers full sun and moist soil. Well suited to poolside plantings. Tussock-forming. Propagate by division in spring. Zones 5-9.
Bulbous Oat Grass

Bulbous Oat Grass

Height is 6-12 inches tall. Prefers full sun in cool climates and partial shade in hot climates. Will perform best in moist, well-drained, acidic soil. propagate by division in spring or fall. Can be very susceptible to rust. Zones 4-9
Feather Red Grass

Feather Red Grass

Height 1-2 feet. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. Adapts well to dry rocky slopes. Propagation by seed is best, divisions are unreliable. Zones 5-9
Feather Reed Grass

Feather Reed Grass

Height may reach 2-3 feet. Prefers moist, rich soil in full sun. Can tolerate heat if well watered. In even light shade it will not bloom well. Zones 5-9.
Gold Dust Tufted Hair Grass

Gold Dust Tufted Hair Grass

Height is 1-3 feet. A cool season grass that can tolerate a fair amount of shade. Prefers moist rich soil. Will not perform well in climates of extended heat or dryness. Propagate by seed or division in spring or fall. Zones 4-9.
Golden Foxtail Grass

Golden Foxtail Grass

Height 6 to 12 inches. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Tuft-forming. Zones 5-8.
Japenese Blood Grass

Japenese Blood Grass

Height 18-24 inches. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Good for edging or mass planting. Propagation by nursery plants in spring or fall. Zones 5-9.
Porcupine Grass

Porcupine Grass

Very similar to Zebra grass, but porcupine is more upright and hardier. Height is to 4-6 feet. Prefers moist fertile soil in full sun. May grow in 2-4 inches of water so is ideal for pond and pool areas. Propagate by division in spring. Zones 4-9.
Variegated Velvet grass

Variegated Velvet grass

Compact grass reaches the height 4-8 inches. Rarely flowers. Grows best in moist well-drained, fertile soil. Prefers full sun to partial shade. May be prone to rust. This plant can overrun small gardens, better use is naturalizing meadows. Zones 5-9.
Zebra Grass

Zebra Grass

Very similar to porcupine grass, but is more lax and arching and may requirs stacking as it gets large. Height may reach 5-6 feet. prefers well-drianed soil in full sun. Propagate by division. Zones 5-9.
