ABOUT BLUE RIDGE COLLIES
Blue Ridge Collies is located in Skandia, Michigan. Located 13 miles south of Lake Superior and Marquette, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We have been breeding Collies since 1982, and in the Conformation ring since 1987. Things that are important to us are: correct collie structure, temperament, good eyes, and health. Once we feel we have these, we start working for: pretty eye set, natural ears, an attitude to win in the show ring. We have finished two collies to their Championship: Ch. Wolf Manor Tigt Fitn Blue Jeans who goes back to the Storms lines. (Blue Merle, Smooth, male)
Ch. Southland's Rebel Of Glory who is tightly line Bred on Tartanside Th Critic's Choice(Sable and White, Rough, male) We also Co-owned Appleline WolfManor Azurthing (White with a Blue Head, female) who went to the 1993 Collie Club of America, in Kansas City, Kansas and took first place in the Open White Bitch class. This was a real honor. We usually have 5-10 collies at one time. With our 4 children ages 18 -10 ,we feel this is a good number for us, everyone has at least one to love and care for.
