HELLO, WELLCOME TO MY HOME PAGE. MY NAME IS
AXCEL DU MONT ROUGE

Would you like to know more about me? How is it that I became World Champion? Well, let me tell you about it:

At 17 months of age I earned the title of MEXICAN CHAMPION, I hold this title with lots of pride when representing my new country of residence. I was born in U.S.A. in the Kennels of Riverbend. Since November 1997, I live in México City, in MONT ROUGE. Now, I'm almost three years old, and I´m really happy with my new pack.

These are my pop and my mom. Up to dogs' heaven I send them a wet lick. I hope they are as proud of my achievements as Arturo is.

HILLTOP'S BLAZING RED STAR

These are just a few of the times I have been in conformation contests and won Best of Breed:

It isn't that I like to brag about it, but being a champion, I have no other choice. These are some of my main achievements:

* 11 BEST OF BREED
* One third place in Jr. group No. 2
* Two best Jr. dog of breed
* One Best opposite sex (on that day, my honey, Dany, didn't get her food allowance)
* 11 best male
* 11 first place of category
* 10 C.A.C.M.
* 3 C.G.C.M. and one reserve
* 1 C.A.C.I.B and 5 reserves
* 1 C.A.C.L.A.B

In April 1999, my sweet heart Dany, Arturo and I traveled to Atlanta Georgia to participate in the DDBS National Specialty. Here, I obtained a third place in the male champions category. We feel very proud about this achevement, since the competition was very strong.

You can see us here, with the judge Peter van Montfoort, President of the Netherlands Mollossers Club, receiving my third place ribon in the champions class.

Mr. van Montfoort said very nice things about me. He said: "Lovely type, super color, lovely head, like to see more stop, well developed eyebrows and cheekbones, powerful foreface, nice wrinkle expression, powerful neck and dewlips, powerful underjaw, enough developed shoulders, powerful bone, lovely topline, well angulated hind quarters, very good movement". Overall, he gave me the rating of EXCELLENT. Thanks Pete, whenever you want, come by for a plate of Pro-Plan with livers and cold water.

WELL, AS YOU ALL KNOW, ON JULY 6, 1999 I ACHIEVED THE TITLE OF WORLD CHAMPION in a show with 55 of the best Dogues de Bordeaux. Some may think that we got lucky, but Arturo and I know that it was thanks to our hard work and perseverance in preparation for the world championship. With a carefuly designed nurishment, training twice a day at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and of course, good handling and a little bit of luck; was how we obtained this important title.

Just to finish with this page, I would like to show you some of my pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Please write me to tell me what you think about my page.

See you soon, your firend
