Ashley was a cockapoo.

Ashley came to live with us when she was about 4 months old. She belonged to my aunt and uncle, but she was too feisty for them to handle. So they gave her to me. This was when I still lived with my parents. She stayed with them until they sold their house last fall, then she came to live with me again. After my parents finished building their house, she went back to live with them.

Sadly, she died in 2002 at the age of 13. She was almost deaf, and couldn't see very well, and wandered behind the truck while Dad was backing out of the garage.
