5 cups peeled + sliced apples 3/4 cup flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 pound butter ( in small pieces)
Preparation:
Preheat oven 350 Butter a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Spead the apples in the baking dish. Pour 1/3 cup of water over apples. In medium size bowl mix: flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and salt. using a fork mix the butter in until it resembles crumbs. Spread evenly over the top of apples.
