General
Club Information
Covering
the New Jersey, greater Eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and Long
Island
areas, the Delaware Valley Pomeranian Club offers the Pomeranian
enthusiast
a chance to mingle with people sharing the same interests.
Currently,
we are restructuring the club in an attempt to stimulate participation
in club activities. Most club business will now be conducted over the
Internet.
Periodic meetings will be scheduled via a chat site (probably as part
of
the Delphi site). It is hoped that by providing easy access to the
club,
members will offer their help in the running of our club.
With
member participation, what can you gain by being a member of a
local/regional
Pomeranian club?
- Information-
We
offer information on the Pomeranian including care, exhibiting, and
breeding
of Pomeranians. Many of our members are experienced breeders and
handlers.
- Activities-
The club's future activities could include match
shows, periodic meetings, and other special
events
designed to share information and to have fun with our Pomeranians.
- Club
Newsletter- This is be available once the club has restructured.
- Rescue-
On
a more serious note, we offer rescue services for those unfortunate
Poms
who are in need of a new home.
Why
support a local Pomeranian club? Local clubs provide you with a way to
interact, face-to-face, with others who share your love of Pomeranians
that parent breed clubs simply can not supply. Regional issues are
brought
to the attention of club members because of its impact to their
communities.
