Check out these GREAT shots of Flint out working at 12 wks. This youngster is not afraid to get in there and get the job done.

I have had so many compliments on how nice Flint is. Everyone wants one just like him. He does have a bit of an independent streak in him. We will be working on that. He already does a nice sit when you ask him. He also devils the Jack Russell. Glad you are getting good placements. I like Banjo for a name. Course I like Levi too. And I figured the Kentucky pup would be liked. She was a nice female. Flint to is going to the sheep sale tomorrow. See how he likes sheep. He's not to wild about the ducks. He goes with me every morning and night to feed and water them. We had snow here over a foot deep. But that didn't bother Flint. He prefers to be outside playing in the deep snow. He likes that snow. Buries his face right in it. And he loves those squeaky toys too. He is a great pup Mel. Looking forward to working with Flint.
Thanks

Well, the old man dog went out this weekend and got his advanced sheep. And one leg in open ducks. But the cattle were a real mess. Only one started dog the first day, and one started and one advance the second day were able to qualify. And there were some darn good advanced dogs out there. But the cattle just fought the dogs. But getting advanced sheep was a step in the right direction. So he can add that to his title. Hopefully at the end of May we can add more. Got lots of compliments on Flint and a few what's happened to Melanie Snyder? They want to see you writing and trialing again.  Showed some of Flint's working pictures around. Everyone thought he was going to be huge. He weighed 36 pounds at 16 weeks. Are the other pups big? Hope to see you in Kentucky. Tell Robin to bring her pup and come over too. And you bring yours too. That way we can take a group picture.

FLASH UPDATE: May 2002 Daddy Smoke went out and earned his Advanced Trial Dog title in cattle at age 11(ATD-c). Congratulations!!!
