While we were living in Australia, Emily and Jenny wanted a bigger dog to show in junior showmanship. We decided a Border Collie would be the perfect match. We found Kellagem Kalkite, a black and white puppy dog, which we quickly nicknamed "Blaze." Fourteen year old Jenny has been training and showing him. In Australia he was shown as a baby puppy. He won 2 Baby Puppy In Group's and 2nd in 3-6 mth Sweepstakes. He was imported to the USA in January 1999. In the USA he is so far undefeated! Currently he has 11pts, with three 3 pt majors!

Blaze has been tested unaffected for CEA. He comes from a lines of dogs that are that are known to be CL free. We look forward to Blaze's future not only as a show dog but also in herding, obedience and agility!
