Baxter is a very interesting cat. My grandma has always loved cats, but hasn't had one of her own since her and my grandpa travel a lot. However, one day, as she was doing dishes, she heard meowing at the back door. Lo and behold, there was Baxter, begging for food. She fed him some chicken scraps and was prepared for him to just disappear. He didn't. He kept coming back, and Grandma bought some canned catfood when it became apparent he wasn't going back where he came from. However, he turned out to be a very finicky eater, and it took a lot of effort to find something he deemed edible! Plus, he would meow at the door at 4:00-6:00am for his breakfast, and about 7:00pm for his dinner, so he was very pushy about his meals! Grandma named him Baxter after the cat in the Meow Mix commercials, for his coloring and for his personality! Baxter has declawed front paws and is neutered, but he still enjoys the outdoors and indoors alike. He loves to play with strings and rubber bands, and even likes to listen to my grandparent's accordians! He is quite the find, and quite the sweetheart, and he's a blast to play with!
Baxter loves to sleep on top of the couch.
Baxter also likes to sit on chairs like so.
Baxter hangs out on the porch a lot, trying to sneak inside.
