Hey, I'm Gremlin. I'm a red-bellied turtle, although my orangeish color
on my belly has faded a bit since my mommy took me home. I used to live
alone but now I have a roomate. Hes really tiny, just a baby like I was.
Actually I still am a baby, but I've grown quite a bit since December when
my mom rescued me from a dirty pet shop. I love to bask on my rock and
I stick my back feet straight out. Everyone seems to think this is really
funny looking, but it's comfy for me and I like it. My mom calls me a good
lil boy for getting along with Petrie, my roomate. He's ok I guess, but
it's annoying when he steps on my head! He also tries to ride my back sometimes.
I thought I was small, but I'm a giant compared to him! My carapace is
currently about 4 3/4 inches in length. I've grown a lot since December!
Sadly Petrie has passed away. I didn't know what was going on that
morning when my mommy found him. I saw him in the water, and I went up
to him, but he didn't respond to me. A while afterwards I had a new roomate
for a short time, Gizmo. But shortly after that mom moved me up into the
big tank with Tummi and Hamilton where I've been ever since, so Gizmo has
the tank to himself. I wonder from time to time how he likes it down there...
But, as you can see, I've changed the look of my page quite a bit.
I've also added some updated pics of handsome me! And I do believe
that the red color of my belly is now going up into my carapace to give
me really pretty designs and color! Check me out;)
All of these next pics are of me when I was still pretty tiny at
my mommy's last apartment. Here I am out of my watery house.
These two are of when my mommy put me in the big turtles tank while
they were out. It was so huge I didn't know what to do! I mostly stayed
near or on top of their cave. 
Here I am basking happily on my rock.
In these two my mom caught me scaling my rock. Most of the time
I tried climbing up without anyone noticing!

As I said before, I'm in
the big tank now. My shell is also just about as big as Hamilton's
now! But that doesn't stop me from sitting on top of him!
Aren't I just the sweetest??
